Botanical | Call for Entry
The AweSnapp Art Awards presents the Botanical online competition, open to artists worldwide, ages 18 and up. This competition invites submissions of artwork inspired by plants and flora, across all visual mediums except video and sound. The 1st Place winner will win free entry in to the Annual Artist award, have their artwork featured on the official poster, and will receive a digital award certificate.
Deadline: March 31st, 2025
- Eligibility: Open to all artists worldwide, ages 18 and older.
- Theme: Artwork must focus on plants, flora, or botanical subjects.
- Mediums Accepted: All 2D and 3D visual art forms are allowed except video and sound.
- Originality: Submitted pieces must be original and owned by the artist. No reproductions or copies of existing works.

$15 per image submitted. Each artist may submit multiple images, but each submission requires a separate fee.
- Images should be submitted in JPEG or PNG format with a resolution of at least 72 dpi and file size not exceeding 2MB.
- Label files with the artist’s name and title of the artwork (e.g., JohnSmith_Sunflower.jpg).
- No Frames, watermarks, backgrounds or logos.
- Artistic Merit: Demonstration of skill, creativity, and originality.
- Interpretation of Theme: How effectively the artwork conveys the award’s theme.
- Visual Impact: Overall aesthetic appeal and emotional resonance.
- Composition and Design: Effective use of artistic principles to create a cohesive piece.
- By submitting, artists agree to have their work displayed on the AweSnapp Art Awards website and social media.
- Artwork must be original and created by the artist; plagiarism or misrepresentation will result in disqualification.
- Entry fees are non-refundable, regardless of outcome.
- Artists retain all rights to their work, but winning entries grant AweSnapp the right to use images for promotional purposes.
- No physical artwork will be shipped; this is an online competition.
If you can’t submit online, email your entry to contact@awesnapp.com with:
- Your name, Email, Website, and Country
- Title and Medium of each Artwork
- Artwork images : Filename Must include title of artwork (JPEG, JPG, PNG, max 2MB)
We’ll send you an invoice for the entry fee, which will be dependent on the number of images sent. Submissions will be confirmed within 2-3 business days.
